You cut the stock bumper to make a stubby.

Chopped 6.5" off each side and beveled it at 45 degrees. Made a light bar to mount into tow hook locations. You can pick up a light bar for less than a hundred bucks. Got a ton of compliments on it while I had it. Just sold the setup this weekend for 200! Made out like a bandit.

That's sick! Can you reference any light bars? Like that one you made maybe? (: and how'd you get those D-rings on there?

You can buy d-ring mounts. They replace you stock tow hooks. As far as the bumper itself just cut it up. I just did mine yesterday

Here is what I did....

Welded holes shut, narrowed it, angled and boxed the ends

Not a great picture but ended up with this. Cheap and much better looking than stock in my opinion....

That Jeep reminds me of a spider. Too many eyeballs.

The d rings were from a buddy of mine who builds Land Rovers. They were almost a hundred and fifty bucks but they were 360 degree 10k lb rings. Had to fabricate a bracket to tie them into the frame rail. Theres a bunch of bolt on light bars out there. The KC one and Rugged Ridge one is what I see more than anything. I made mine at work with some scrap DOM tube and plate. Don't be afraid to hack it up and make it your own. If you screw up, used stock bumpers are readily available for cheap.

Will do! There's a metal fab shop in my school maybe I can ask for a favor, definitely want to chop it a few inches shorter tho and add some fog lights. Would it be cool if I asked exactly how you got the D rings to the frame? I love the idea
