Stock Front Springs in the Rear?

hello,

a buddy wants a low budget lift on his TJ. He has some grand cherokee front springs for his front and thinks about installing my stock front springs in the rear.
but before we want to know how much stock tj front springs would lift the TJ in the rear?
do you have some experience with that?

thanx in advance.

I don't think I would do that. Why don't he just get some pucks.

you´re right.
then i´ll tell him that he can buy my old (3000 mls) 2" spacers and the longer shocks.
but the ride with them isn´t very good. it´s very stiff. that´s why i want to get rid of that stuff.

Yep pucks shouldnt change ride since you still keep the same springs.. get some OME shocks and forget about it

pucks change ride. the CAs are in a bigger angle with them. that makes everything stiffer than without the pucks.
that´s why i installed very soft rancho r5000 shocks. that made the ride better. but after driving a friends TJ with an OME suspension i noticed that there is still a big big difference between my cheap BB and a real suspension.

but let´s stop this here.

my question was how much front TJ springs would lift the rear.

I wouldnt do it, thay are not the same kind of coil, just take a look at them, the front is thinner and has more coils, the back is wider and doesnt, but hey I bet its better than a 3 in. BL
