Stock Generator

hi,

i´d like to know how much amps the stock generator in my 06 tj poduces. how much rpm does it need to produces this amount of amps?
i´d like to add 4 more 130W hella highbeams and i don´t know if the stock generator can handle that.

you mean the alternator? From my search i'm getting 117 amps and i guess its at 1700-2000rpm

I used to run 4 without a problem. Plus a 1000watt amp. But I use an optima battery.

Yep, 117 amps and it'll put those out at just above idle. It charges even at idle but it takes a few more RPMs to get up to all 117 amps. Four 130 watt lights would be ok, that's just over 41 amps and the alternator has enough reserve for that.
