Stock Height TJ?

What is the stock height on a 1998 TJ Sport..I can get the stock tire size when i get home to look at the spare. I guess i can measure anywhere on the Jeep so say front bumper height or wherever. I am trying to figure out how much lift i actually have so that i can figure out which route to go to clear the 35's i am going to buy soon.

On the totally stock suspension on my '98 Sport with p235 tires...from the bottom of the front bumper to the ground is 18 1/4 inches +/- and from the bottom of the rear bumper to the ground is 15 and 7/8's +/-

Thats the stock tire size that came on mine. Wonder what the difference in tire size is to yours? I currently have 33's on it right now. Is yours like a 30 inch tire? i think that my stock would have been a 29 inch tire.

I'm curious about this too as I am trying to see if my stock suspension 97 is riding lower than it should be. Specbill, are those measurements you took with the hard or soft top on? Also would you mind giving a height measurement from the side of the jeep? thanks.

Sorry guys I was gone all day.

Williewardjr...my 235's are suppose to be 29 inch but they measure closer to 28.

K.C.'sJeep....I have the hard top on but the rear set removed, all else is stock. I took a side measurement directly below the door handle, Measured from the botton of the body work to the ground and it was 18 and 1/8 inches.
