stock skid plate

I have a 99 se and i was looking at my gas tank today and it looks like it has a skid plate on it. Does someone have a picture of they're gas tanks so i could compare? I didn't think the se would come with a gas tank skid stock so i thoght the po might have put it on. thanks for any help.

it has one, they all came stock but they offer pretty much no protection off road....

All TJ's came with one one, and like he said, they off little protection. Mine already has a small dent in it.

the stock skids are better than nothing but can still be easily damaged if hit just right. I hit a rock on mine and it looked like someone donkey punched my skid plate. The dent was the size of a soft-ball, yeah it was time for something new.

Yeah - and tell that to my XJ.... with 3/4 of a gas tank when full
