Stock trac lok for Dana 44 LJ

I am rebuilding a stock rear Dana 44 out of a 2005 jeep wrangler LJ. The jeep caught fire and trashed the bearings and seals. The guy I bought the axle off of gave me all new parts to rebuild the axle shafts, master install kit, and a factory trac lok. I completely gutted the axle and it is ready for the new parts. My question is the new limited slip going into the axle does not work with my stock 3.73 main ring. The mounting holes on the trac lok are smaller than the holes that were on the trac lok that came out of the axle. The holes match up to each other but the holes are smaller on the trac lok compared to the ring? I tried to look up the casting number on the trac lok with no luck. My 30 splines axles fit the new trac lok. The casting number is 7611X080599. Do I need to go to a lower ring and pinion? Any help would be appreciated.

I know what you're talking about on the different size ring gear bolts. Personally, I would just install a new carrier and trash the Tracloc which is clutch-based and won't last more than 45-50K miles at the most anyway. A new carrier can be purchased for $60-70 if you shop around.
