I store mine in the garage. No place in the Jeep, even with the back seat removed, to store them safely and w/o damaging them.
P.S. Love the color of your Jeep, never told you before though.

I've thought about getting the cloth doors and keeping those in the jeep so if it rains I'm not SOL.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm thinking about making some kind of bracket for the hitch that I can strap the doors to. I've seen it before but I'm not spending that much $ on it.

Why put the doors back on? Unless your afraid of someone getting into your Jeep leave the doors on.

If you have a hitch on your jeep you might look into this option.

http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/P...016446/c-10108

It is a rack you put your doors on behind the spare. I personally don't like it because I feel it looks weird with your doors there but it might serve your purpose.

I love my half doors, I can always toss them in the back seat if I want to take them all the way off, and if I just want to take the top of the doors off (skins) I can toss them in the back also.

Even with the full doors you should be able to store both behind the front seats, just keep a packing blanket to stick in between the two. Unless you want to invest in that expensive rack you can either keep them off and in the garage or keep them on.

I agree, too pricey, and I don't like the look. I keep mine in the garage and I don't keep anything of value in mine so when I drive it any where it doesn't matter if the doors are off or not, I never lock the jeep.

i'm thinking how about using 3 hooks or soemthing and then hook the doors to the roof behind the seats?

3 hooks.. one door faces one way.. other the other way and they both share the middle hook

I just take the doors off or keep them on, but my jeep is never locked. I made copies of all my CD's I listen to so if they get stolen I'm not out a lot. I keep nothing in my Jeep because if they want it, they'll get it.

on the half doors, I think jeep intended the space under the back seat for upper door storage. I saw that somewhere. But i know when i had my other jeep with half doors, i had an amp under that seat and no room for upper softies. I got the full doors now and just put them back on yesterday. I kept them in the garage while they were off. Those suckers take up some room if you kept them in your vehicle. I know when the top is down i dont want my freakin doors moving around in the back seat.

Any luck finding a solution? I'm in the same boat. I would like to be able to just throw them in the back and go. Im thinking about taking the back seat out and trying to make something out of PVC that will hold them up. I dont really want to go through the trouble and buying the pvc if it wont work. Any one have solutions.

hard dr storage

I haven't tried it with my tj but I bought a 77 CJ7 in 1977 and when I went out of town or the seasons were changing I would store the drs behind the back seat standing up with a blanket between them.It seems that I turned one with outside of Dr facing forward and the other Dr facing the other way or some combination there of.At any rate they were a good fit----not over tight but plenty secure to where I didn't have to tie them off.I would almost bet you that they will fit the tj the same way.Good Luck!!!

You can just fold the rear seat up and place the doors upright against each other. I've done this plenty of times without the needs for mods to hold them
