strange noises

I was hoping you all could help me out a little bit. I have a '98 sport, 4.0L and I am having a couple of different noise issues. The first issue is a rattling noise when i drive over small bumps at low speeds and the second is a squeeking noise when i turn to the right. Both these noise seem to be coming from the driver-side, front. Any thoughts?

the rattling could be your ball joints, its pretty common to rattle when they start to wear out. But then again, could be brakes to...

The best thing to do is to jack up the front so there isn't any weight on the wheel. Shake it, pull it, push it in all directions to check for play. Check the tie rods, the ball joints, basically anything that moves. I imagine something will have some play in it... Take pics of the loose parts and post 'em here. Or, point out the loose parts to your local mechanic.

Rattle might be the exhaust too, just don't check it until it's cool....

Might sound stupid and you might not have them but,I had a rattle couldnt figure it out well finally did one day it was my stock fog lights on front bumper. I quess the last time I went out wheeling I must of busted it on a tree limb and the bulb bounces around. It could be anything.
