Global, its the 5year/50.000 mile antiefreeze, orangy in color...if never done it will start to deteriorate/ cause sensors to fail prematurely and corrode everything within the cooling system... I have been wrenching for 26 yrs and have seen the damage it has done... it's a win win...

Check your Owner Manual. The Owner Manual is available on line as well at
Most likely it's a HOAT antifreeze = Zerex G-05 found at > Products > Zerex > Antifreeze Zerex > Zerex G-05® Antifreeze / Coolant
•Protection for up to 5 years / 150,000 miles
•Approved by Ford and DaimlerChrysler for use in automotive and diesel engines.
•Utilizes hybrid organic acid technology to minimize inhibitor depletion
•Low-silicate, low-pH and phosphate-free formula
•Provides protection against liner pitting and corrosion
•Helps prevent rust and corrosion
•Helps prevent hot weather boil-overs and cold weather freeze-ups
•Protects all cooling system metals, including aluminum
It's available at WalMart here.

Ford uses the same product, can be orange (Chrysler) or yellow (Ford).

Other antifreezes will work like Peak Long Life Antifreeze @ PEAK Long Life® Antifreeze & Coolant but staying with Zerex G-05 is a factory installed equivalent.

X3 on the Zerex G-05 recommendation. If it isn't premixed, be sure to only use distilled water which is available at your local grocery store by the gallon, not tap water.
When you have a choice, buy American.

JUST like Jerry said...Zerex G-05 with distilled water. I recommend doing a flush with distilled water too. 5 gallons for 5 bucks in my neck of the woods...
You can lock it..even put a different t/c in it..but its still not a RUBICON!

+1 ZEREX G-05 NAPA Canada (Alberta) carries it and if not in stock they'll bring it in...I looked at the local shop's with no luck although Co-Op or UFA might.
The dealership wanted $38 a jug

I'm in the process of replacing my cratering stock radiator with a Mishimoto Jeep TJ (04) (brackets are on the new ones) - and I am doing the thermostat and the hoses as well at the same time... I figured I'm there now anyhow...
