Subwoofer placement?

So my luck lately has been awful lately. If you have seen my last post, I just got out of a car accident and just barely got away without totaling my jeep. So I got it back, still have some back problems, but anyways..

I went to a "do it yourself" car wash with a pressure washer and stuff and I had no top on my jeep. A pipe burst above my car and flooded it with soapy dirty water. It broke my 300 dollar subwoofer and amp. So now I'm in need of new subs

With the backstory out of the way, here's my question. I wanted to get 2 twelve inch subs because I love bass in music to be loud (I'm 16 lol). Have any if you guys installed 2 subs? Where should I put them?

Notes:
Doesn't fit in trunk
Needs to be somewhat water resistant
Maybe somehow secure so they don't get stolen with the top off

I know the best idea is to kind of male your own box out of mdf from lowes. You can make them downfire with legs so they wont hit the floor and mount amp on side of box with a cover going all the way across to look like a trunk top. Why wont it fit in the trunk? And jeez sorry about all your bad luck, did you not talk to the car wash place about it busting inside and ruining alot of stuff?

I have a security trunk ( basically a long board so people can't get in it unless you open the trunk.)

See where his legs are? I wanted to bolt on on each side on the inside there, above the back tire. I thought that would look cool, and if bolt it down so no one can steal then

I have seen a few write ups on here where people have actually installed them in the back seat. I will do some digging and see if I can find them.
