Talking suckin

Hey guys, new proud member to the jeep world! just got a 2000 tj 2.5L and LOVE it.
I'm going to do a 4.0 TB, TBS, and Cold-air intake in the near future... I was wondering if I will have to order a Cold-air for the 4.0 or the 2.5L since i will have on a 4.0 TB on the 2.5 engine. sorry for the newb question. Much appreciation to you all on this site. kick ass info!

Thanks guys! It's good to know I can get all the info I need for my jeep here.

I just learned that I would still need the 2.5 CAI even if I have a 4.0 TB.

How about this one though ... Hi-Volume Cold Air Kit with K&N Replacement Air Filter for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

looks pretty simple and effective? anyone used this product?

You probably could put your money elsewhere and be more happy. Do a search under regrets. There was a good post a few weeks back.
2000 Sahara, 3.5" Rubicon Express Lift, 1" spring spacer & 1" Body Lift, 33" or 35" BFG Mud tires, Front & Rear ARB, Rancho 9000 shocks, UCF Ultra High Belly Up, Savvy gas tank skid.

I can attest to the regret of the CAI. If you do any offroading I would not get one. Do a search on jeep CAI, you will see that they do nothing good for the jeep except let dirt and mud into the engine. Do as you wish but I and many other regret taking out the stock air box for a CAI.

Anyone who can legally own a firearm can carry it concealed in Vermont with no permit/license
