Suggestions for my choices

Starting off i want to say i am a working teenager, and will be opening my own business soon! So i'm on a tight budget of around 700 dollars cash. lol and yes I'm 17 but i still get Christmas shhhh don't tell no ones. :P I've tossed up tons of idea's in my head, some realistic, some very unrealistic even if i was an adult with a awesome paying full time job lol, and here's what I've come up with so tell me what you guys think, make suggestions, and help me with better ideas and what not!

Budget: $750

JKS 1.25" Body Lift - $129.99
JKS 1.00" Budget MML - $54.99

CoverKing front seat covers - $149.99
CoverKing back seat cover - $119.99

Black Headlight Bezels - ???
Black Powercoating for rims - ???

Total: $454.96

adding in for you guys, my jeep is already set up decently for my off-road needs, I'm really looking for "style" or looks upgrades. The BL is so my 33" will fit better and my the jeeps stance will look better, the covers will make my interior soooooooo much better, and when the tops off it will help make my jeep eye candy. the headlight bezels will effect looks aswell, but i cant seem to find them on the web, so i might just DIY paint them, and the rims i want to get powder coated black.

So what do you guys think?
What color seat covers should i do? red/black? black/black?

P.S I want MT tires, but i mean my tires have like 95% tread left, and if i just wait my father will buy me the new ones when i need them. no sense in wasting good tires and money for new ones when i don't need them.

******Edit: if i powder coat, ill get the White letters IN *****

Pic for reference:

See I'm kinda the opposite, i want it to have a more "whoa its lifted" look, i mean to the unknowing eye, it looks like a stock jeep, unless i park next to a stocker on 0 lift and 29" tires.

i feel the 1" would help some and also with rubbing/flexing rub.

yeh i get what your sayin. im just one of those i hate wheel gap kinda ppl if i would lift even more i would end up with bigger tires to fill the wheel gap lol

Black headlight bezels are super cheap... The cost of the tool to remove them, and a can of black Krylon paint, and there you have it!

Also, one thing you might want to consider with your WIP list, instead of the Baja Claws, consider these Kumhos:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....enture+MT+KL71

I drove the 33" Baja Claw radials on my old YJ, and so far these Kumhos are much better (at least on the street.. I haven't wheeled them yet). They are definitely more quiet than the bajas, and have much more rain traction. They also seem to ride a bit more smoothly as well. It also looks like they are a little cheaper too.

I also like how they look on my toy

Instead of a 1" body lift and 1" taller motor mounts, I'd instead go for a 2" budget suspension lift that consists of spring spacers and taller shocks. A 2" budget boost is also very easily installed and it won't cause transfer case and transmission shifting problems like a body lift can. That'll fit into your budget nicely. For seat covers, I'd go all black.

For black headlight bezels, paint 'em... $5 for a can of Rustoleum rattle can paint. Wheels? I wouldn't touch that aluminum color, that provides a nice contrast against your paint color. Plus if you offroad, the scratches won't show like they will if you anodize or paint your wheels black.

Good to have you here, it sounds like you're a pretty squared away 17 year old!

yeah, surf noticed, its true jerry i already gosta 2" BB. the JKS body lift will add on to that BB

i have two reasons behind my want for a BL, which is frowned upon:

1. I have 33's they should rub, mine don't, but just in case to extreme flex
2. I want a more "lifted" look and can't afford a full lift kit, so adding to my BB fits

also check out craigs list or ebay and look for a set of Rubicon springs there stiffer than regular wrangler springs and if you have the same springs from 99 on ur wrangler they probably sagged expecially if ya have a hard top. the Rubicon springs will give you about 1"-1.5" of lift. thats what i did and i gained about 1.25" for $50 on craigs list. right now i have a RE 2"BB (there actually 1.75 spacers) 2"BL and Rubicon springs have 5" total. on 32"s but i just found some 5x33" BFG M/Ts on craigs for $375 with 80% tread sooo im jumping on that next week.

whoa, you've sparked a interest in me. Yes, i do have stock 99' jeep springs, yes i have a hard top, so if i bought some stock Rubicon springs, id gain another 1" or so??

so id have the 2" BB, the rubi springs, and after that id had roughly 3"~ of lift??
then i could get the 1.25BL and MML and be siting about 4-4.5"~?

I have a feeling i have a some vibes when i get to like 40+ MPH, so should i get a TC drop if i get some rubi springs, because im guessing its gunna make the really minor vibes worse.

just making sure i can can get the rubi springs and keep the BB on it.

Tight, okay now i'm stoked lol, see, i wanted 2" of BB then 2" of body lift, but i can just get the JKS 1.25" and then get the Rubicon springs and make up the ground with the springs, keeping the body lift to a minimum and getting 4" of lift! sickkkkk

**update**

4wd.com has better pricing for the parts I'm ordering

Budget: $750

JKS 1.25" Body Lift - $121.99
JKS 1.00" Budget MML - $54.99

Smittybilt front seat covers - $159.99
Smittybilt back seat cover - Free with Front seats

Black Headlight Bezels - $5
Black RockCrawler Side Guards by Body Armor - $219.99

Total: $561.99
that's only a $107 dollars for $219 rockerguards
saving from the back seat and adding rockerguards

and as far as the body lift and motor mounts. i got my body lift from Zone Offroad. But i got the 2". Great company and the customer service is awesome. the good thing about there body lifts are 1. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY MML. they come with a bracket to relocate your steering linkage, and your fan shroud about 95% of the other kits dont take that into consideration. SO YOU DONT NEED TO LIFT YOUR MOTOR. 2. it includes your shifter linkage relocation bracket that most other kits do not provide. just something to think about

O snap, that's a Great price, for it too.

with a 1.25" I've heard there's no need for a Shifter linkage relocation, but i mean if it comes with it great, ill def. look into it.

being 17 and having my father purchase everything using his CC then just taking money from my back account he usually likes to keep it to one site, but ill tell him is saves a bunch of money lol.

Be prepared to suffer years of giving an apologetic 'no' to all those who snicker on the trail and ask you if those are real bead locks.
