Superchip locker?

Ok, I have been in this forum for little over a week and I understand most in here say don't waste the money on a superchip. There's really some great advise too. U all have saved me a good deal of money already. But let's just say someone has already ordered the superchip for his 2001 tj 4.0 auto, and it's waiting to get installed. That person ordered it before he even heard of wrangler forum. I, mean that person heard it would actually lock in the rear end in 4 hi. It does say that in the brochure, but am I reading this right? Doesn't seem possible? But I guess anything is with the way computers in cars are these days. Thanks for everything, wish I would have met y'all earlier

Good decision to return it. And nope, in no way could it lock the rear end.

I had a Superchips tuner for my old Dakota and I LOOOOVED it...especially the ability to calibrate my speedo for oversize tires, however, as mentioned above, it won't lock your rear-end...and it won't pay for itself like people try to claim. The money you save on any potential mpg improvements is quickly wasted on using higher grade fuels when using premium fuel settings (which show the best improvements).
