suspension question for a newb

are suspension lifts adjustable? say if you had a 4inch suspension lift and you felt it was to high, could you adjust it to be 3inches? or are you stuck with the 4inches? probably a stupid question I know.

Never did any research on that, but I would have to say no.

if it's 4 inches, you get that much. There's no adjusting it. You're gonna replace the coils and other parts, the coils for example can't be shortened to your liking, savvy? they're springs set longer than your standard springs, you buy the kit that gives you what you want. I guess you could weight it down to lower the lift a little lol. Someone else please correct me if i'm wrong 0.o

I'm asking cause I have 35's on a 4inch lift "bought it like that" and think I want to go down to 33's all terrains. just worried theres going to be to much of a gap and it's going to look weird.

You need to remember a couple things about tire size. 1 the 33" tire is only 1" shorter then the 35" tire at the fender from the rim center. And 2 the size of the tire varies from brand to brand. I had a set of 35" thornbirds that were only 32" tall. You need to check manufacturers website for the actual tire hight and not go by what's on the side of the tire.

You can adjust your ride height without changing springs... Check out the JKS ACOS (Adjustable Coil Spacers) if that is the direction you are leaning.

JKS Manufacturing: Coil Spring Suspension
