Question Swapping axles to TJ from JK

at a recent club event around the camp fire some guys were telling me that a good upgrade for me d30/d44 from a 97 TJ would be to look for someone with the new generation HPD30 from a JK i believe he said this would be 07 and newer

i know its not a direct swap but he is running 37's with open front and LS rear

my tire size goal bounces between 35/37s

i dont feel the need for the D60s anytime in my future and i dont like the full width (it wont fit on my car hauler)

any help would be greatly appreciated

The JK's are not a direct fit, you'll have to modify and change bracket locations and I also want to think they are a tade wider.

Check the search function, there are some other threads on here about this as well.

yeah i figured they were not direct bolt in
and the tad wider is not bad trade-off rather than going full width
