Im getting ready to swap my stock front bumper for a new SB SRC bumper.

Question is, does anyone have any advice for making this easier or how to do it. I see 6 bolts. Two on top and one on bottom on both sides of the bumper holding it to frame. Is that all I have to take off? And what do I use to take it off and where can I pick one up?

Sorry for all the noob questions. And also, what's a good set of lights I can throw onto the new bumper?

Thanks for your help in advanced.

Just took mine partially off, used a t-55 torx. I undid just the top bolts to add an MBRP bar and the bumper was nearly off, so i cant imagine much more than the bolts are holding it on.

I went with KC daylighters, a little beefy and might look off depending on your bumper. KC hilited are a good thinner option. Lots of other companies offer decent quality lights but I only have experience with the KC ones (still installing)

Depending on the aftermarket bumper, the plastic 'frame-cover' with Jeep written on it will probably have to come off as well - just 1 screw on each side of the frame holding that on.

I would have never thought about taking that off. Thanks!

It's in the middle of being shipped. Will be here around Tuesday. Pics will for sure be taken (17 doing my own build and upgrades, of course I wanna post about what I get.)

It's all done! Was so much easier then I thought. Mounted two lights but didn't power them yet. I'll have to do that after work. But looks good so far

Thanks for the help everyone.
