Sway Bar Link Question

Heard some rattle when going over bumps so I decided to chase it down. Pushing up and down on the front corners of the Jeep (2004) made me notice that the sway bar links can be moved around by hand at the bottom mount. Is this normal? How tight should they be? I assume tightening them up would squeeze the bushings... Good or bad? Any advice is appreciated. Just got the Jeep a couple of weeks ago and found this forum. Thanks.

No they should be bolted tight and shouldn't move if the stock bolt is in there. Mine move a bit but I have homemade disconnects. Is there a torx head bolt holding the sway bar on the bottom mount or do you have quick disconnects? need some more info. take a pic if you can of the bottom mount and bolt.

It is a torx bolt and they are stock. I can easily tighten the right side but the left one seems a bit stuck. Haven't sprayed in down with anything yet, though. The odd thing was the right side was the one that moved the most and when I tightened it down, the left side was easy to move. I put it back where it was and decided to ask on here before I did anything. Does that give you enough? I can take a pic tonight but they are bone stock. The bushings don't appear to be shot, either.

They should be tight, When I removed the stock bolts on mine I had to spray them with PB blaster and use my feet/legs to loosen them they were on so tight. If the bolts are loose tighten them but There shouldn't be any play, at least on mine there wasn't. Maybe someone else has some knowledge for you but I would tighten them if you can.
