Switching the Sun Visors

It's a sunny day so i am doing some work on my Jeep .
I want to switch the sun visors so the WARNING!! stickers face up when up. I figure when they are down the sun will be behind them and the visor will be in siloette and I still won't have to look at them.
Can I just slide them off the peg (easier ) or do i have to unscrew them both to switch them?
They are the painted on stickers so I can't nail polish remover them off and I am sick of looking at worst case scenerios in my Jeep. I do use the sun visors otherwise I would just take them off.
Any help would be appreciated...this is an excellent Forum...Damn.

I am also sick of looking at these stickers - my concern is the "ears" on each end of the visor which are set in one direction. If you switched visors they would be facing the wrong way, if you tried to change that would it break the backbone of whatever is holding them in position leaving them to flop around.
The stickers look like they are silk screened on the visor, if you used a black vinyl spray would you still see the imprint of the sticker?
Has anyone tried this ???

I don't get any benefit from using the sun visors at all. They stay up all the time. I may just take them out altogether.

Just slide them off the arm and switch driver's side and passenger sides.

Thanx JD for the advice. It took a little muscle to slide them off the arm but they got free. Still easier than unbolting and rebolting.
it looks much cleaner without the Warnings defacing the view.

The stickers come off easly. Just put a wet rag over them and put a hot iron on it. The steam will loosen them up and just peel them off.

Yes! They came right off with wet cloth and iron. I tried Goo Gone and another adhesive remover to get the gunk off.... no such luck. Any suggestions?

Has any one tried this on a 2010 and up?

Don't think anyone here did it on a 2010 as this is the TJ section but i'd assume if they are decals, they would come off.

I stripped every sticker (inside and out) off my TJ... all but three - the warning labels on the sun-visors and the one between them! I would NEVER take them off! Personally, I think they give a comical accent of charecter unique to the Wrangler!

Quite litteraly the only part of the interior that will never change!

But when you do swap them, post pics - I still want to see!

I am glad something as mundane as a warning decal does not make my life so miserable.

And a light that tells you your in 4x4, like I didn't know I pulled the lever up into it. Mine stopped lighting up and now I cannot drive in 4x4. LOL
