SYE/CV install cost question

Thinking of getting a SYE/CV shaft thrown in since my Jeep is at the shop already getting a regear.
My guy says he will do everything for $725. That is using the Rugged Ridge SYE kit, CV shaft (I believe its his custom shaft), and custom rear UCA's.
Whatcha think?

SYE and shafts runs for a advance adaptor and toms shaft runs about $470 plus shipping. so that leave 260 for install and arms to give you some figures.

Why are you getting custom rear UCA's? are they adjustable?

I suppose its not a bad price.

I bought a AA SYE last week directly from AA . It started out 199.00 when I clicked on Check Out Now their was another $19.90 knocked off making it $179.00 which I thought was tough to beat until I received an invoice where it said I was the winner of a free order and their was no charge for any of it . It is to be delivered tomorrow if this is all for real . I bought a Drive shaft from Standard driveline in Turnersville NJ for $235.00 so I guess I am doing OK so far . As long as the parts are quality and the install is done properly, the price sounds pretty good . . . 500 is a good ball park for a good SYE and DS, and a good set of adjustable UCAs will set you back another 200. Just make sure you're getting quality parts and you should be good to go.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.
