SYE Install Advice

Ill start off by saying I've always done all my upgrades myself, but never tackled installing a sye. The brown truck just delivered my teraflex sye and TW driveshaft. Seems like a pretty straightforward swap, I read the guide on stu's site. My question is what else should I replace while I've got the case opened up? Are there any other parts I need to gather up and replace since I'm already in there? Any good upgrades to be done? My Jeep has just over 100k and I'm pretty sure its never been opened up. Thanks in advance for any info!

You should be good to go.... 100k means nothing if it was maintained well. The install is just as you said, straight forward. I opted to remove the case from the Jeep... others leave it in place.

Just follow the instructions.

Lockring pliers are a MUST ( not snapring )
10mm 12 point socket for ONE BOLT is a must on the t-case

Here are some pointers for you.... read post #12 AND #19 BEFORE you start.....

Thanks for the link! I've read a few horror stories about not having the correct pliars. I have a couple different sets of smaller ring pliars, I guess I need to track down the tool truck and get a set of heavy duty lockring ones. Thanks again.
