Tailgate Sagging?

Hey everyone. I have a '98 TJ and my tailgate seems to be sagging when it's open, and to close it right I have to lift it up and slam it. Does anyone else have this problem?

P.S. The weatherstripping for it is missing but I don't know/doubt if thats the reason.

Party on Garth!

check your hinge pins... Mine did the same and the lower pin was broken... if you lift up too hard you will pull the lower hinge apart... be carefull
