taking the fan/clutch off

How does the fan/clutch come off of a IL4.0L. Cannot get it off. Do I need to disassemble the front end of the jeep?

Leave the belt on. You need a 12" or longer wrench (one that will stick above the radiator shroud straight up) and give it a good whack towards the passenger side with a hammer.
