Sell it. Buy a Prius. Regret selling Jeep. Buy another.

You are complaining about 170 miles for $35??? My DD gets 350 miles to $100 tank fill. Of course, I pull my Jeep with it every weekend too.

Ok this is what you do..for the next three weekends (or your days off) switch vehicles with that friend who has a spouse that wont let him have a jeep, you know the one everybody has one. Drive the civic, camry or fusion ,if your really do it right a minivan. If after this you dont remember why you put up with the issues mentioned then its time to sell .The good thing about selling is in a year you can just buy one with the upgrades you wanted in the first place. Im a month in and still in the honeymoon phase.

QUICK! Who is in Vermont near this guy?!?!??! Ban together and kidnap him from that ledge! Throw him handcuffed and gagged in a Prius and drive him around for 12 hours straight!!!!!!!!

He will beam when you toss him back out in the street and the tires of his baby.

C'mon man. I think you just need a bonding weekend with her to talk you off the ledge. Pack your bags, wash her up, then take her off road and get her muddy.

^^^ better yet - drive him around until the prius runs out of gas - if you do it right - it could take a week

that would change his minde quick

Find the nearest freeway. Walk into traffic without looking either way. Find an oncoming bus or any large vehicle. Stand in front of it.

The Whitesox have what exactly? They have been playing second fiddle to The Twins and Detroit for last five years.

Go Twins.

My 25 year old *girlfriend* said you should grow a pair before we have to call the wambulance. "My Jeep does all that, and I still love it to death." Your being out-manned by a woman. Grow a pair.

WOW...

I've had my Jeep a month and can't think of driving anything else. I have to drive our Durango to Michigan this weekend for a family party and to pick up my mother-in-law and I can't believe I'm already missing my Jeep. I haven't left yet!!

Get over it...

all the comments are great! But I'm in Jeep love with my Jeep and we all know what that is like.... I just dont have it in me to let it go. I think i just need bigger tires, a bigger lift and more time on with the buddies on the trails, you know the ones their riggs can handle....

lets not talk like im not a seasoned jeeper, my friends

lets just face it, some days the jeep just gets on your nerves and really truely SUCKS!

you couple noobers will see what im talking about when you give it more than a few weeks

I have these days. It passes pretty quick though and I remember how much I love my jeep. its nothing a good deep water crossing or a muddy trail can't fix. Its a jeep its not built for comfort or style. Its built to last and for u to make stylish.

This is interesting I used to have those "i hate this thing" days with other vehicles but after I got the jeep that all went away.....
So did the stoplight racing, the turbo lag, the $80 oil changes, the idiots riding my tail or getting in the way in the left lane, and last but not least the 93 octane prices.....

and i get a vehicle that I can park anywhere and not be concerned about door dings, scuffed bumpers, walls, curbs, handicap poles (yea took one out with the new bumper the other day.....poor pole) or shopping carts parked in the spots closest to the door at walmart......

Dude, we all have our moments. And in our own way, we are showing you how much we like each other on this thread. We are trying to shake some sense into you before you make a bad decision that you will regret.

I had a 97 TJ without AC (live in NC...it is going to be 100 today and EXTREMELY HUMID--brutle). But, went I had to get rid of it and get the minivan, I cried.

So now with my second TJ (got rid of the minivan!), when I have those fleeting moments of exhaustion and glance at the smooth riding Dodge Challenger next to me at the stoplight, I just remember how miserable I was after I gave up my first Jeep---and I become peaceful about it. Just like a spouse, nothing is perfect 100% of the time---the only question is what makes you happy MOST of the time.

SOLUTION: Get a cheap reasonable DD and test that theory before you get frustrated totally. Maybe with the money you save on your MPG, you can take it and get a bigger lift/tires and be totally Jeep-gasmic again.

That may be, but going to a game at Wrigley versus the Cell doesn't compare at all. Wrigley rules, the fans are great and it's an awesome time even when the home team stinks. I always feel like I'm a duck in a shooting gallery when I go to a Sox game. That being said...GO BEARS!!!

BTW, next time in in Crystal Lake I'll make sure I swing through LITH and wave at you as I sit in the Steak and Shake drive through.

Ouch.

Cubs fans are the last true fans. We aren't bandwagon fans. We aren't fans because it's CHIC to be Cubs fans. We're fans because we love our team. The fact that we're ALWAYS the underdog makes it even more fun. Wrigley has a special feel that many stadiums will never possess. Harry Caray is a GOD to us, making Steve Stone Jesus and Rynne Sandberg and Andre' Dawson his disciples.

We know we aren't going to win consistently. We've accepted that. But do you know what? We're ok with that. We're still going to root, root, root for the Cubbies.

Oh, and Albert Pujols has a funny last name.

^ I always root for the Cubs to come in second place

Behind my Red Sox. I can agree about Wrigley. Fields like there, and Fenway (have been to both a few times) have a much better 'feel' than the newer modern stadiums.
