Can you ONLY IMAGINE how hot that freakin' body gets in the sun???? No way you could do that crap and not have A/C.

Brings a whole new outlook to "Chrome won't get you home".....

What were they smokin' when they came up with that idea!?!?!?!?

Looks like some sort of kitchen knife/pizza cutter on the front of that thing.

Maybe it's designed to mow down pedestrians? I'm in favor of that! 2,000 points for the Boy Scout!

I've worked in professional kitchens quite a bit. Here's a tip about stainless that a lot of people don't know. If your hands are all oniony, you can rub them on stainless steel, and it takes away the smell. So there's a bonus to this vehicle right there.

I've seen pics of a CJ-8 body that was all aluminum (the tub, not the frontend) and it was totally polished. Very shiny, but not my tastes, personally. This THING pictured above is hardly a Jeep. More like an abomination......

It's not really an abomination, just a cultural difference.

This California company is importing these from the Philippines, I would guess. They have a strong tradition of stainless steel Jeepney bodies.

The Jeepney shows up every once in awhile on this forum, usually as an "OMG ugly jeep" - and I disagree. It's an art form. Not what I might drive everyday, but I think very significant and interesting.

Now, what the heck this company is doing selling these here, I have no idea.

Everyone has their own taste, I suppose.
Personally, I'd walk before I'd sit in that thing.

^^^ Yep also very popular in puerto rico. Jeepney's are some awesome creations of art sometimes.

Fair enough.

You'd probably walk barefoot thru broken glass before riding in a FINISHED Jeepney. That stainless body is just the beginning.

The thing is, cultural things don't translate well. This looks ridiculous here, but in context of the Philippines (or Puerto Rico - never been there!), they really are cool.

But put one in Denver, and it'd be like me singing hip hop.
