Hmm interesting I dont think I use the winch enough to need synthetic rope but I've heard it's good stuff I'm kinda leaning at a lunchbox type locker

No armor really yet. So that's Definetly a good possibility maybe I'll get some diamond plates for the rear.

I suggest an engine skid, upgraded gas tank skid, and steering box skid to start with and then also rocker protection if you can swing it. Go with 3/8" thick skids.

I knew that looked wrong. Maybe if they were made of titanium!

Anyway...yeah...3/16" to 1/4" works best. Stay away from 1/8". Did i get it right that time Jerry?

If Jeep is paid for armour is good choice.

If Jeep is not paid for put the 700 towards the note.

I am going with the Skid Row Engine/Transmission skid with my return. Had a very close call with a shot to the oil pan that very well should have punctured it. The one time it saves you, it will be worth every dime you put into it.

X2...that's the one I have as well. I also installed their lower control arm skids.

X2...that's the one I have as well after totally wasting my newer "heavy duty" stock gas tank skid.
