Tell me if this will work

Trying to get back on the road. I won't be off roading, maybe beach driving a little. My tj came with 15x8 in rims with 4'' bs . 30x9.50 tires. I want to put Discount Tires America P235x75R15 105S OWL Goodyear wrangler tires on it $105.00 each, best I can afford . I have heard this is really close to the same size. Is that true ?

235x75R15 are equivalent to almost a 29" tyre.
