I didn't see the details of the lettering but it looked like a twin. Had Jerry cans on the back though.

Have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth between 11 and 2 with the engine off and you watch the tie rod. If it is rolling up and down before the tires try to move, that will split the grease boots on the tie rod ends and add a very vague feel to your on center steering.

You may need to add a rubber spacer under one of the tie rod end bodies and trap it to tighten the steering back up.

It sure looks like the front drive shaft is missing. I don't see a drive shaft connected to the front differnetial yoke going to the transfer case.

He has to re-gear the front. My guess is it's out to keep from accidental damage.

Looks like a Low Pinion Dana 30 up front? Hard to tell from that angle and I didn't feel like going back through the pics so see it better, but if so, I've probably got a set of used low mileage 4:88 gears for it if you care to pay shipping on them.

It has 4:56, don't you need 4:88's to match the back?

Yea the front has 456 that's why I drive shaft is out in the rear it has 488 from the 8.8 swap I need to change the front to 488 I was telling you it has 456 in the front to see if that would let you if it was a high pinion or not

Gearing has nothing to do with being a High Pinion, its the actual location of the pinion gear in the housing. You have a standard LP D30 . You can find a high pinion in a late 90's Cherokee, which is what I am currently looking for myself.

No, high or low both have 4:88's available for them in that style housing.

The only thing that matters is whether or not you need standard rotation for low pinion or reverse rotation for high pinion.
