Temp side mirrors.

Hey,

I got a 97' wrangler with half doors. Well summer is starting and I run without my top a lot but I have been wanting to take my doors off. To my knowledge in Virginia beach, VA, you have to have side mirrors at all time. My problem is I have my mirrors attached to the doors.

I'm not looking to relocate them, I'm looking to see if anyone knows the best deals on the temp mirrors that slide into the hinges where the door used to be?

Aftermarket Harley mirrors at the local parts store might fit right in the hinge. You might also be able to clamp a round convex mirror to the rollbar right up there by the windshield

I used Yamaha mirrors mounted on steel L-Brackets. then installed them at the windshield hinge. I keep them on all the time, they work great.

I bought 2 replacement mirrors for 14 bucks each.. bent the bracket and I bolt them in the door bracket holes. I also bought a piece of aluminum strapping and used it to strengthen the mirrors... I have about 30 bucks in material

Little pricey for basic mirrors but works great. It slides into the hinges and has a built in magnet to hold it in place." Just add mud off road.."

Walked into the local Harley dealership the other day and got these for $25.00/each:

And you can really see well out of them:

Easy to install, simply drop bracket into hinge and attach nuts, which all comes with the mirrors. And they haven't moved a bit since I set them where they are at now and spent a good part of yesterday going down the road at 75mph with them in.

I know you asked for pics of mirrors that go in the hinge but I saw someone recommend the quick release mirrors so heres a few pics of them.

If you have a motocycle salvage yard near by. you could get them alot cheaper. Mine were free, I took them off an old Virago that I have in storage.
