I am at the point in my build where I am hitting more and more aggressive (to me at least) trails and obstacles. I need to get my underside armor done ASAP. I have a 3.5" lift with a SYE and cv driveshaft already. My question is if I get the terraflex belly up pan and the tranny/motor skids what mods will I need to do since I already accounted for drive shaft angle and pinion angles with my adjustable control arms??

I think if you've done an adjustable track bar and drop pitman arm already, you might just check your front caster angle. Make any adjustments needed there using your adjustable control arms. Depending on your tire size, (33s I'm guessing?) check your tire inflation and make sure they're not over inflated or set too high psi. I think if I remember right, I ran 33s on street around 28psi.

You will need a small body lift to allow room for the lifted trans and transfer case. And a motor mount lift to help re-angle your drive shaft.
Btw this body/ motor lift will change your drive shaft angle. So you will need to adjust the pinion angle again.
I suggest if you don't have one already a Novak transfer case linkage.
You might need a small adjustment for fit of the shifter boot/console.
There will be other adjustments also. But they are different with most TJ's.

So the belly up does lift the transfer case to gain the additional clearance regardless of SYE, adjustable arms etc. are you running one?

I have the Teraflex skid. I gained 2.5 inches clearance at the front of the skid and 1.5 at the rear. Well worth the effort. It is a 75 pound skid though....

Do the MML & BL, 1.25" on BL at the same time...saves you a lot of work!!!. And if I remember correctly it requires a minimum 1.25", my Rubi TC used all of the space!

Regarding the MML, I went with M.O.R.E ...they were 7lbs between the two of them! BEEF . The BL was a Zone 1.25". In my build post 140ish shows you the install. I also installed a NEW transmission mount since you're already in there. Have a wire wheel and rustoleum paint for the frame rails, when you drop the skid. You need 2 jacks stands and a floor jack for TC. I put mine on alone and the floor jack aloud me to roll the skid in place. Start spraying the skid plate bolts at least 2 weeks, 2x/day ahead of install with KROIL or PB BLASTER. Tighten the bolts then loosen them several times before installing new skid especially since you're in the North!

I saw there was a different mounting procedure with the rubicons... I will still take it into consideration. The thought of 2.5/1.5 of gained clearance is really attractive
