Lightbulb That gear thingy

I am looking for all my friends with the 2.4L engine
i want to put 31x10.50 or 32x10.50 on my jeep. i have it raised with a budget lift. 1.75= 2 inchs. and then i have 4.11 in the back. and 4.10? in front. how much does it change with the new gearing like 4.56 or 4.88? Since the 2.4L is a speed demon. im looking on ways to not get passed my a grandma.
So again. how much has changing your gears changed the way it drives. helped or not.
Thanks so much

what transmission do you have?

4.10/4.11 is the same thing. But you need to match gears front and rear, otherwise you don't have 4x4.

I have a 2.4L with 3.73 gears and 33x12.5 tires and I think it's fine. I don't drive the highway much though so I don't really care. It's great on trail and in the mountains. with 4.11 gears you will be even better off, I also have a 6 spd tranny

You should be fine with that engine and 4.10 gears. If you were going to 33s, I'd recommend changing gears, but not for 31s.
