The fender flares have been trimmed!

After seeing everyones pictures of trimmed fender flares I became jelous and had to do it myself. Took advice from a few people and trimmed 1.5'' from the bottom. Now my 31s look small

Oh yeah, got these supertop vinyl half doors off craigslist for $25! too

thanks! well they didn't come with the uppers so thats why it was cheap. also it fits a cj model not a tj. the handles don't work with for the tj so I took a u bolt and but in the door support and a hole on the soft top surrond.

Looks great, man! You did a professional job trimming those flares. You're right, they do make those 31's look small!

I cut out a small piece of cardboard that was 1 3/4 inches and lined it up from the bottom flare and every inch or so I took a black sharpie and drew a dash mark. Then I just trimmed away. I'm going to put some door edging on tomorrow and blast it wth a heat gun to bring back the black color that's not faded.

I used a tape measure to cut a piece of cardboard that was 1.75 inches. If I tried to line up the whole flare with the tape measure it would be a p.i.t.a. Trying holding the tape measure steady and making dash marks on the angled part of the flare.

Oh yeah, next time I wouldn't use a sharpie. now I have to sand out some of the marks that I slightly undercut
