The fenders,fenders,fenders... doors!

so most people ask about the fenders, but my problem are the doorhandles... there chipped, peeled and look grungy compared to the rest of the car!

whats the best manner of getting these puppies to look brand new!?

theres also slight rust here and there =((((

Not to big of a problem removing them I would imagine. You could take them off and paint them for a few bucks and a little time. Or you can go to quadratec.com and buy yourself two new ones. Left door 19.99 right door 21.99. Hope this helps.

Never thought about painting them, I'll probably do that to mine now, I suffer from the same thing. I wonder if the handle will come out of the handle frame it's attached to (if that makes sense) so you can sand it and repaint

I painted mine while still on the door. I just masked around it. Make sure you put a nice coat of clear on when your done. That'll help it last longer.

Good advice, what paints did you use? I keep reading about krylon for flares, would that work with the handles?

I left mine on the doors when i painted mine. Just make sure you take plenty of time taping everything up, that's definitely not something you want to hurry through. I just used the cheap spray paint from wal-mart, but if i was doing it again, i would use something a little better. Although, that was around 2 years ago, and the paint still looks good.

Same here. And I used the same Krylon paint I used on the fender flares. So far she still looks sweet.

thanx...Ded N. Buried
