The previous owner of my Jeep towed it behind

his motor coach. It still has all of the hook-ups attached including the (run away ?) brake actuator/ cylinder mounted under the hood. I am thinking about taking all of this off to install a new front bumper. Can anyone tell me approximately what this towing set up would cost new and if there is any resale market for this type of item? Thanks

Trying looking up the parts on ebay or craigslist and see what they are selling for.

Best guess, $750 to a $1,000 new plus installation.
Yes, there is a resell market for those systems. Check out a few of the major RV forums in the Toad and Dinghy sections...try RV and iRV2 - The Friendly RV Forum Community

ON a side note, keep in mind that the miles showing on your odometer will not be the actual miles on some parts of your Jeep. When a Jeep is towed behind a motorhome it doesn not record the miles. Meaning that some items such as wheel bearing could have many thousands of miles more on them than what the odometer shows, as well as the suspension, brakes, U-joints.
So it might be worth a few minutes to check those items a little closer to see if any maintance is needed.
