The Toy

I have decided to keep my Jeep as my toy... I've been traveling alot and my Jeep just can't take it... I am trying to find a new car, that picks up fast. A cheap car that is good to fix up and is fast on the roads... Any suggestions?

I am keeping the Jeep in my garage for right now until I find a new car... I'm still going to take the Jeep out on weekends and everything I just need to get a better car for commuting for school. I'm still going to do an axle swap and switch the gears and everything once I have the money...

Just hand me some suggestions for a cheap/fast car... Thanks!!

I think you need to clarify your definition of "fast".

Do you care about gas milage, drivetrain, fwd, rwd ect.

Go find a 96-98 cobra they will be in the 7k range then if that is too much money get a 96-98 gt stick. They are fun, I love my 97 gt for the most part. I am rebuilding it into a monster but ya different issue. The mustang will get 18 city and 20 something on the highway depending on how you drive. Mine got 27 mpg on the highway cruising at 80( I had a lot of work done so it loved 80 and 2400 rpms) in the city I got less because I drove it a little firmer lol.

I am in the same boat as you right now. I am looking at an s2000 two seater, but fast, handles likes its on rails, good gas mileage and 9000 rpm redline or pontiac gto amazing interior, faster than s2000, good gas mileage while cruising and v8 rwd.
