Bought my 97 wrangler sport 3 years ago and grew very tired of the bright yellow, it was in very sound mechanical condition. Removed all the body attachments and off to Macco for the transformation to gm stealth gray

I like your jeep. I just pray that macco does an acceptable job.

I hope you're getting their top package otherwise it'll look like ass. It's all about prep so unless you do it yourself or pay for their better package it won't get done.

Payed a bit more for the better job . Stripped all the body hardware myself. The previous owner had macco shoot the yellow over the original white . Yellow is not bad but it was a very bright yellow and gave me up no matter where I traveled. Adding a new back bumper and black light bezels. Repost a finished picture. At 118 k the jeep is running top notch . It's not a show piece just a fun everyday driver.

should look cool. can't wait to see the finished pictures. maaco can do a decent job if you are not looking for anything like show quality. they resprayed my F150 for me. did the cheapest job. but the truck is my DD/junk hauler. i just wanted everything to be the same color from my spray paint patch jobs. i was actually quite surprised at how it turned out.

It's all about the prep-work and the painter... not the company he works for.....

I used Maaco in 2004 in San Diego for their two stage 'manger special'. I did all the prep-work. They shot my junk to include the door jams and tailgate jams and under the hood where I had masked it off for them.....

$550 and I couldn't have been happier. When that painter left them... that shop went to crap.

It looks real good. Did you painters do the inside and door jambs color change also ? I'm considering a color change, and had been told it's pretty difficult to do a complete job.

Looks like they did a nice job. Watch out you don't end up loosing that to your daughter now that it is looking all cool.

All the door jambs and under the hood were.painted . I removed the door panels as well prior to giving it to them. The shop did I'm happy to say remove the door weather stripping before they shot it and reinstalled post. There are some very minor hints of the old color in some hard to see spots . Being a 97 and a daily driver I am more than happy with the results. Perhaps I am lucky and have a good shop near me. The funny thing is I have never owned a vehicle that I wanted to tinker with , add to etc more than this Jeep. Always wanted one and I must say they are very well built and so easy to work on. Yes I have been bitten by the It's a Jeep Thing bug .
And my daughter has her own key and see her driving away smiling is priceless.
