There is no way to control a loose brick from fall off the roof at the exact moment they are attempting to get away.

I don't leave anything laying around in mine and i also leave the doors unlocked so hopefully the top won't get cut.

I NEVER lock the doors of my soft-top equipped TJ for that reason.

Left the doors unlocked on the wife's jeep all the time. One night someone cut the soft top through the zipper to gain access to her sound bar. They gave up when they found out it was bolted to the roll cage. They didn't check to see if the doors were unlocked cause that is where the coppers are likely to check for prints.

Another reason to go through a window is the doors could be set to an alarm. No reason to open the door when you have easy access. Nothing will stop an idiot... err thief from trying to get in.

What I don't get is how they are interested in CBs and loose change and not the expensive items like doors. I've come to the conclusion that if a thief wants access into your rig unlocked he is still a complete idiot.

I know you guys are going to make fun of me for asking this but, what do you mean when you say carry around your "faceplate". Are you talking about the radio faceplate like the front of a sony or pioneer? Sorry for the dumb question.

Keep a spare purse full if bricks or pieces of rock, if you leave something in sight, leave a decoy purse, they will grab the first n easiest thing.
