thinking about customizing stock bumper

I'm thinking about customizing the front bumper. A light bar? Some kc lights? Take the plastic ends off and make it look stubby? any pics of anyone doing this? Can't really justify spending the money on what some of these people want for one

I put a rugged ridge light bar with 3 5" lights on my 97 tj and I'm very satisfied with it.

Don't know how to post pics on here yet but I also removed the milk jugs on mine. I then cut the ends at a 30 degree angle from top down starting at 1/4" past the fog light holes; then I filled all the other holes on the front of the bumper then 3 coats bed liner. Looks good. Next is to build me a grille guard/ light bar to set on top of the of the bumper. So far I got $10 in it as I had a bandsaw and welder and a little spare time.

I chopped mine off with a mitre saw.

It looks better if you ditch the factory swaybar though

Those look good! I'm just a little reluctant yet. Any one else?

That's a sharp jeep man I love white vehicles, my next Jeep will be white I think. Maybe. Haha. They look good.

Is that light bar just bolt to the bumper, or did you weld it??

It is a bolt on. All of the supplies came with the kit and it took me about 2-3 hours to mount and wire it all.

Hmm, very nice. I'll have to check that out, I'm keeping my front stock bumper for a while and may see about customizing it some.

So far I just lost the jugs on mine. Got the last of the stupid Torx bolts loose last night, so it is coming off for a few coats of bedliner this weekend. Adding hooks when I put it back, and going to black grade 8 standard bolts. I've been thinking about finding some flush mount fogs to install in the bumper (sort of like the JKs have), and I want a small/medium bolt on light bar/stinger when I get around to adding a winch. Right now I'm working on hitting everything with bedliner all around the Jeep, then I'll move on to functionality
