They're fine, I loved my BFG MTs, but these pro comp MTs I have suck unless you're willing to have the rotated constantly. They're fine in the rain, or the mud. And yeah, they're noisy. I love that. They just aren't lasting.

Here's mine with 31's on stock rims/no lift

Fully capable on the trails (get front sway bar disconnects, I had a broken one in this pic and I think that is what let me do better)

Here it is with a 2-1/2" lift

I only wheel it a couple times a year, but it is nice to have the extra clearance. It is my daily driver and yes my tires are loud. I rotate them every 3000 miles (4-5 months).

Stock rims have a back space of 5.25 or 5.5
so if you get some with 3.75 or 4.0
your tires would stick out about 1.5 inches more

I just know that there is a tremendous difference with my cragars with 4" BS. A difference for the better. I love the wider stance look.
My fender flares don't serve a full purpose anymore as most of the mud goes all down the side of the jeep, and inside the jeep when the windows are down. And when you are driving on soaked roads at about 5mph, like in a parking lot, keep your arm inside if your windows are down. The tires throw beads of water all over you. But I wouldn't have it any other way. IT'S A JEEP!!!!

My rims are aftermarket 15X7 with 4" backspacing, the tires are only 29's but they still stick out 1".

Nice Jeep! I like the soft doors, where did you order them from?

I like the look of your jeep Tiny! What BB did you use and did you need any BL for the 33's?

No problem Joe. Smat, I ended up installing a 1 inch BL (I always forget about it) to be able to add a MML to battle my vibes from the BB. It was, I believe, a Terraflex. The 33s are stuffed right now, I don't think I'd disconnect with them. They'll probably eat my flares if I wheel.

I run 31s (BFG M/T KM2) on my rig, with no lift, and I'm happy with that at this point.
Anyway, a 2" BB will do no (much) harm, I think, and could help in some situations (like this one:

In that situation (that I got suspended), a winch wouldn't have done any difference (there was nothing to hook on), but some extra clearance and some lockers would have helped, for sure.
So, probably, the next step would be a RE BB and, after that, a Superwinch EP9.

heh Heh, lockers would have helped, but not 2" lift

Driving made a real difference in that situation !!

Your axles would still plow snow, even with a lift. Lockers make a BIg difference in snow. But you can still get all fours off the ground, then you need a winch or a shovel!

... or a Nissan Patrol with a winch just behind you...
I still am convinced that a little lift might have made a difference. Or maybe not....
Anyway it was total fun.

Thanks, I got them from JCWhitney. They were less $$ than Quadratec. Plus now I have a JCWhitney card. I also had to get mirror movers (I got those from Quadratec....JCW didn't have them listed on thier site)

I really like the soft doors in the summer. It is so nice to take them off and throw them behind the seats and go doorless.
