Thinking of going back to a TJ

Hey guys. I own a 2008 JK and really like it but I kind of miss my 97 TJ. I've been looking for a new Jeep, maybe 2013/2014 but ran across this beauty. A 2004 Sahara TJ. Oh no! Am I going backwards or going back to my roots. I just may have to buy this beast.

Forwards if you drive off road. Smaller turning radius. Narrow track that can't get stuck in everyone's ruts. Backward if you want power windows and such. You have owned both. You know brother. I just hope some a hole never totals my tj. I'm very content not owning a jk but hate used vehicles. Good luck.

I had an 07 JK four door and traded down for an 05 LJ. I loved the look of my JK but had too many problems. Having been the owner of 83 Laredo, 97 TJ and 07 JK I absolutely love my LJ. Love the in line 6 and it's looks. just my 2 cents.

I own a 2003 and a 2013. I like both a lot, but for different reasons. I will probably keep both, but even my wife is looking at maybe dumping the JK for a second TJ. So maybe, just maybe... ;-)

2003 Shale Green TJ Sport
2013 Black JK Sport S

The terms "PO" and POS" are interchangeable when referring to the guy who used to own my TJ.

Just make sure its got a Dana 44 or better rear axle and hopefully both axles have been regeared to either 4.56 or 4.88 depending on the transmission.

It looks like a sweet jeep, newer isn't always better I say. Personally, I'd highly consider going for it.
