Thinking of selling my TJ

So here's a little background on myself.
Im now 20, working for my grandpa at our family lumber company in So Cal.
My grandpa sold me his 97 2.5L when I was 15. For a killer deal. at 12,500 mi
and he upgraded. He now wants to get sell me his 2009 4dr Rubicon with about 9000 mi (ranch vehicle). It has rock sliders, flat fenders, skid plates, and 31's.

As much as I would like to keep my 97 as a trailer queen for strictly wheeling, and one day pass it on to my son. I feel like I dont have enough capital to afford to do that at the moment. So im wondering how much you guys think I could get for my TJ??

Here is my build:
97 TJ 2.5L
5-Speed Manual
AX-15 Conversion
69k miles
4" Rancho lift,
1" Body lift
All bushings just replaced
33" BFG mud terrain tires,
16" AEV ORIGINAL Pintler Wheels,
Currie front and rear bumpers,
cold air intake (i know, save it),
ARB rear air locker,
30 spline chromoly axle shafts front and rear,
SYE kit,
Currie trans/transfer case skid plate,
Currie gas tank skid plate,
Tuffy center console,
Tuffy floor mats,
half doors with soft uppers
KC Hi-lights 130W
Bikini Top
Custom Front Fenders
Stereo System

price will vary... but the 4cly kills the value. I would have a hard time going over 5k for it.

I would list it as a "make offer" and see what that fetches. Maybe more or less than what you want. just dont settle.

With 69,000 miles, I think you could do better than $5K in Southern CA. I'll bet you could get $7K without too much problem.

Man that's a good lookin Jeep. Too bad about the 2.5L but either way it'll sell pretty easily. Are you sure there's no way to keep it?

Very nice, well thought out and executed Jeep. 4 cal or not...very nice. If you were closer to me, I'd certainly part with $5-$7k for it.

I'd like you to just sell me those pintler's.....

Agreed. I paid $6700 for my nearly bone stock 99 SE w/62k back in April. Compared to everything else I found and looked at here in so cal, I felt good about my purchase. Although I prob wouldn't have paid so much if the jeep was wheeled. The PO drove it like a car to and from work only. I def think you can pull more than 5k though.

Man, you guys are tight!

I just sold my practically bone stock, 4.0, 5spd, '01 TJ, with 118,000 miles on it for $8,000 a month or so ago and I live in Michigan, as has the Jeep it's whole life, where the name of the game is dump salt on the roads in winter.

This Jeep wasn't driven much in the winter previously to me getting it and I only drove it a couple times. Was in to good of shape to do that to it, although I know it will be driven in winter full time now.

I'd suggest moving if all you can get is $5-$7,000 dollars out there!

You all know the saying though? There's an a** built for every seat! Just hang on to it until you find that a** that will spend more.
