This doest look right

So I was out working on the car a little u know doing random sheit that needs to be done, anyways I was pumping my tires up and I notice this. (pic below). So my reaction was "ooo that explains a lot" do jacked up the front and slipped it back on. isn't there some way of securing it so it doesn't happen again?

Are you talking about your antisway bar link? If so, it will just come apart again. You are much better off, financially too, to just replace both anti sway bar links with quick disconnect antisway bar links like from JKS.

^^ What he said. That piece doesn't just slip together; your ball joint is broken. If you don't offroad recreationally, you can just grab a scrapyard replacement and bolt it in. If you run trails, you would benefit from a quick disconnect system.

Really I had no idea that it was this bad. I'll be looking in to some disconnects and a new anti sway bar.

no need to replace the anti-sway bar, its a piece of solid steel and wont really wear out. get a set of JKS discos and a set of shaft collars from mcmaster-carr and call it good.

The front sway bar is solid? I thought it was tubular with flattened ends
