that depends on what you mean by "bouncy". if you hit a bump and your rig tends to kind of float or roll front to back like a boat; that's "soft." if you hit a bump and it feels like someone kicked you in the butt but your rig doesn't float; that's stiff.
per your second question there are several threads on here where lift height determination is discussed. use the search function
Tell the truth.
Is that a "long arm" looks like you got a pretty good lift going on there
And bouncy means soft. Might want to stiffen up the ride with a good shock. The Rancho RS9000 are adjustable and are awesome shocks.
Need better pics. Definitely looks like a long arm kit.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. No stupid questions only stupid responses and they usually start with"use search".
License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.

I think mine's soft then going off of all that. It just kind of shifts around. it doesn't really bother me..just trying to kind of figure out the terminology for mine in particular. I need to kind of get more specs on what I actually have going on there.
I'm glad it looks good! it's totally the lift that was on it when i got it. My friend looked at it and said it looked pretty solid and it wasn't a block lift or anything like that and I already wanted the jeep so I was sold.
That's a Full Traction long arm kit with probably 4 or 6 inch springs. To my knowledge, this is how they offer their kits. They run about $2,900 and that does not include shocks, the labor, CV drive shaft and slip yoke eliminator which you probably have as well. I don't have any personal experience with Full Traction but many have told me this is one of the best off the shelf kits you can buy. This won't be as cheap to drive as your Honda, but it's a NICE JEEP!!!! Good find.
