Snake Oil! Save your money... :)

Why would Fuel Injection need a spacer? The diameter inside the Throttle Body would make a difference, but not extra space below it.

The only thought behind a TB spacer is to let the Air/Fule have a longer time to mix better... but like you said, they are snake oil. The best thing to do is to upgrade the who TB with a large diameter one, but those can get pricey. I'd rather just get a good cold air intake and exhaust. I donno if anyone make performance camshafts, but that would be a good performan part to get as well.

Complete, total, absolute, 100% waste of money. No rumor, no kidding. A spacer can do wonders under a carburetor and it can do wonders under the old no longer used throttle body injection type of throttle body.

But on the TJ's 4.0L where nothing but air passes through the throttle body, a spacer under the throttle body will do nothing. Some gimmick spacers even claim to swirl the air but by the time it gets past the valves into the combustion chamber where it finally meets up with the fuel, does anyone really think it'd still be swirling?

It's a complete waste of money. Yes I had one given to me.... no effect on performance, no effect on mpg. Only if you're suceptible to the placebo effect would you think it did anything.

All the above, of course, is just my personal opinion. :)

As everyone said (well, just about everyone), waste of money. You didn't state if you have the 4 or 6 cylinder engine. If you have the 4, then slap on a 4 litre throttle body and you will feel a power increase in the top end. A 50 buck junkyard part.

I like my poweraid spacer and airaid intake. Makes it sound like its got a turbo when its winding up lol. I noticed a bit of a difference when i put mine on. Everyone has their own opinion. Its a cheap add on. Try and if you like it then cool...if not...you can join the rest of the pessimistic bastiges lol.
