tinted soft top windows?

Curious where i could get tinted soft top windows for a factory soft top, if it is even possible.

I looked at Quadratec's site and most of the replacement window panels on there were for aftermarket tops (tinted that is)

And have any of you guys or gals resorted to any homespun methods to give a little more privacy -- was contemplating velcro'ing in some mesh or something

I am trying to delay the inevitable because i know the absolute best solution for me is a hard top with tinted glass, but Christmas has left me bucks down

the tinted windows are nice except when you're trying to back-up in the middle of the night in a dark parking lot. you sure those windows from quadratec were for the aftermarket tops only? i dont see why the wouldnt fit. but if not you could try the dealership but you know they'll charge you an arm and a leg

I been wanting some tinted plastics too. My windows and top are in great shape but its the spice color and I'm afraid new ones will look "too new" and not match. My top has the normal weathered look but by no means is it in bad shape.

I just can't bring myself to shell out the bucks for the tinted windows.

can you buy that window tint film at an auto store an put it on the window. i dont know if it would work on the plastic window or not, but it could be a cheaper solution

There was another thread on this a while back. I think ultimately what we all decided was that the plastic is just too flimsy.

My three rear windows are tinted and I can say it's darned hard to see out of them if it's not broad daylight. I wish I had clear rear windows now that I think about it.

I tinted my soft uppers with the static cling window tint, it is tough to cut since it is so thick, but it worked.

I have a black soft top with tinted windows. I don't know the brand because it was purchased prior to me buying the jeep. There is an "R" logo on the windows, if that helps.

The Bestop replacement windows will work with the factory top. You must get windows for you year 97-02 or 03-06. Windows are for sale all the time on ebay. (I just picked up the same lit new in box for a lot cheaper than the link price) Too bad Qtec can't spell original
