Tinted Window Problem

Hey whats up. I am a new jeep owner got a 97 tj. I got tinted windows on it and i went to car was and wash it. it was hot outside so i put the windows in the back and dropped the top. When i got home i realized the windows were sticking together from the heat. i got them apart but there is like white mark on the tint. is there anyway to remove this?

just get some vinyl window polish and cleaner and it should remove the white marks and help keep it in good condition.

i have the tinted and it is very easy to see the scratches, i use the polish and cleaner. it gets the small scuffs and scratches out and helps protect the windows from fading and becoming brittle.

If you want to check local as well, just about any acrylic/plastic shop will have that too. It's pretty common for buffing and polishing cast/extruded acrylic. I have some from my projects and will try it on the windows as well.

For future reference, you need to get something like this to protect the windows when not on the top;
