Actually that's a pretty good idea, I'm going to do that. Mahalo.

You mean you don't have a collaspable shovel? With the tiny amound of space in my Jeep, a full sized shovel is the last thing to be in there. Fits under my Seat very nicely I might add.

This is how i have my shovel. it isnt a little shovel. i have a full size one side and use to have an axe on the other side but took that off. never used it and and was afraid someone would take it off and hit my jeep with it.

I have the Gerber version with one side serrated. Its not knife sharp but I will chop up small brush and branches. I bought it for camping and ended up using it a lot. Mine sits in an old military shovel pouch under the drivers seat.
