Tips for installing a new top

I just received a new top for my 04. Do any of you have any tips before I start installing this top?

Thanks in advance!

Jim

Let it sit in the sun for a little while so that it will be more pliable when attaching to your hardware. Oh, and have a beer or two while you wait.

Do it on the warmest day of the week, take your time when attaching to the header. That's the most critical part. Be prepared to go to the hardware store and purchase new screws if you existing ones end up rusty. I purchased new stainless screws and added washers to give a little more strength at the attachment points.

Maybe it's a hard top..... two latches up front, 6 bolts in the rear, and presto, it's on.

It's new MOPAR Top. It was a special order. Someone paid for it and and never picked it up. Only paid $100.00 so I think it's a good deal for now.

Pretty good deal for who ever you bought it from too, I'd say! $100 for something that was already paid for......
