Tire and Wheel Sizes?

I have recently purchased a 2000 Jeep Wrangler. I am new to jeeps and was looking to do a couple of mods on it. I am looking to do a small lift with bigger tires(have 30x9.5r15 tires on canyon wheels now). Would I have to get new wheels to fit 32in tires? If so, what size? Thanks in advance.

You can mount the 32x11.50 on your stock rim, it may rub at full turn however.. You can adjust the steering stop to help with that. A 2" lift would help keeping the tires out of the fenders offroad as well.

Would the rub at full turn be a major deal? Also, I have seen photos of people mounting huge tires on stock wheels, having the tire over lap the wheel by a good amount. 32 inch tires would not do that?

The rims you have should be 15x8.. these are good up to a 12.50 wide tire, so it should look decent, not a lot of overlap as you put it. If your not sure, see if you can find someone with a 32" tire that will let you mount it on your jeep to give you an idea of how it will look.

He has the cayon's they are 15x8. With most 7" rims 10.50 is usually the limit, but life will go on.
