Tire carrier

I'm fixing to make the jump to 35's. I have been squirling parts away for a while and am close to start the build. The one thing I caint make my mind up on is a tire carrier. I have a Posion Spyder rear bumper but I do not want a bumper mounted carrier. I have been looking at the Exo-gate and OR Fab. Are there any others I should consider? If you have a body mounted tire carrier I'd just like to hear your opinions.

This is the last piece of the puzzle in what has took about two years to get to this point. I have done better than I thought about waiting to get everything and not settling, but I caint stand it much longer!

I have the Highrock 4X4 by Bestop installed on my TJ and I am very pleased with it. It's strong, looks good, and doesn't rattle!

Anyone have experience with OR Fab's carrier? What about TNT customs?

3x4x4 is the exogate painted or powder coated? I think I would paint it to match my Jeep.

It is powder coated with a slight texture to it. No reason you cannot match paint it.

I have the Bonnie Blue on my front bumper, are your from the Florida Parishes/North Shore or Gulf Coast?

Born and raised in NC. I have it on the front of my truck too. A lot of people around here fly it. I'm just into the Civil War. Most folks come up to me think I'm a Dallas Cowboy fan. Not many know it was used in the Civil War.

I leaning towards getting the exogate.

Since I don't have a factory tailgate and exogate is out of the question for me. I had been considering CCFABS drop down carrier though. $375

I like my Exogate.

Yes, the flag was flown in the "War of Northern Aggression" and was also the flag of the short lived Republic of West Florida (nothing to do with the state of Florida). The territory of the Lone Star Republic of West Florida included what is the Florida parishes of Louisiana and southern Miss. and southern Alabama after revolting from Spanish rule. The Bonnie Blue is commonly flown along the upper Gulf Coast and is an acceptable and legal alternative "state" flag of Louisiana inside the Florida parishes.

Winners get to write the history books and that's one reason I like to show the Bonnie Blue. It's a little known flag of the Confederacy. I would be viewed differently if I used the naval jack. The Bonnie Blues use in Louisiana I didn't know about. Always nice to learn something new.

Is the exogate made in the US?

Yes, the Exogate is USA made.

I like it because it is very low profile. If I were going for an all out off road bruiser there is where those tube style carriers seem appropriate.
