Tire dilemma

I have 33 10.5's on my jeep
they only measure around 31.5 though.
The back tires are brand new and the front are almost bald.

I want to upgrade to 12.5 wide (i have the proper rims for it)

I dont have the money to buy all 4 tires so i was thinking about buying 2 12.5 wide tires and using them for the back wheels and take the good 10.5's that i have now and putting them on the front.

I know if i get 12.5 tires they will measure closer to 33" than the ones i have now.
Will this cause any problems having bigger/ wider tires on the back for a month or so?

I dont want to waste my money buying another pair of matching 10.5's like i have now when i could just upgrade to 12.5.
And i cant wait till i get enough money to buy all 4 12'5 wide tires because its almost wintertime and my front tires are bald.

Yeah go ahead with the 12.5's in the back for now until you can afford them for the front too. It'll just look like the wannabe street racers of my day that had big fat wide meaty slicks in the rear and skinny tires up front. Hopefully your wheels don't have any more backspacing than around 4" so you won't have any clearance problems with the new 12.5" wide tire's inside sidewall.
